Electronic Open Mic Night returns to Nottingham

This item was first published in our mag’s former incarnation, ‘NMNM’.

The all Electronic Music Open Mic & Forum returns to Nottingham as part of the UK wide tour. This is an open mic night with a difference – no acoustic guitars are allowed!* This is an acoustic free zone and an opportunity for electronic music makers to play live.

So if you are an artist making any forms of electronic music including: dance, ambient, noise, electropop, techno, glitch, electrojazz, chiptune, hip hop, loopers, improvised, live coding, experimental, trance etc, get out of the home studio and into the light of a listening and appreciative audience. Laptops, synths, drum machines, loop stations, groove boxes, sequencers, samplers, iPads, modular synths, apps, keyboards, decks, analogue and digital devices of all kinds welcome.

Meet other electronic music makers, share ideas and collaborate. There will be ample time and space to discuss this form of music making.

If you are a music fan, come and support your local music scene and join us to witness some live electronica in a myriad of forms.

FREE entry for all.
