Snapshot – Those Howlin’ Sounds

Those Howlin' Sounds

Essentially I would say we have a garage-punk/rock sound with our influences including Ty Segall, Bass Drum of Death and Anton Newcombe (The Brian Jonestown Massacre) as well as the energy of the garage/punk scene in America (Black Lips, Thee Oh Sees, FIDLAR) and UK sounds like The Blinders, Slaves and IDLES.

Band members:

Alex Strongman (Lead vox / rhythm guitar)
Luke White (Lead guitar / backing vox)
Adam Crooks (Bass)
Kayne Clarke (Drums… backing vox at times and hand claps where necessary)

History:

We all know each other from being in bands. I (Kayne) used to take photos of the bands the others were in when not gigging myself.

We’ve always been in the same friendship circles and what have you – started to play music together on and off in different formations but came to the current line up in October 2016.

In September (2017) we released our first self-recorded single ‘Twenty Five’.

We’ve just released our debut album ‘SLEEPWALKER’ (July 2018).

Working On:

We’re currently promoting and touring the album. Working on extended set lists for festival appearances and working on some new material for future releases.
